“Arrow” season 5 has been a lot of fun so far, and it’s given us plenty to talk about with the mystery surrounding Prometheus, and the return of Laurel Lance. “Arrow” will return with “Who Are You?” on January 25th, and now the title for the February 8th episode has been revealed. Marc Guggenheim has revealed that the titled of the episode will be “Checkmate.”

As Guggenheim noted himself in the tweet, “Checkmate” does not refer to the agency that DC Comics fans have become familiar with. So what could it be referring too?
Well, Green Arrow and Prometheus have been playing a deadly game all season long, and if the episode title is any indication, it looks like one of them will be getting the upper hand in their rivalry when “Checkmate” airs. We’ll just have to wait and see.
