When “Arrow” season 5 wrapped up, it didn’t wrap up all of its storylines. Several plot threads were left open, such as who survived the explosion on Lian Yu, the future of HELIX, and of course the identity of Vigilante.
Fans didn’t get the Vigilante reveal they wanted in season 5, but the showrunners have promised that the character will be unmasked this season, and it’s been teased that no one will see the reveal coming.
The Vigilante mystery is certainly intriguing, and the character is said to have an important personal connection to one of the members of Team Arrow.
David Ramsey recently spoke to EW about what’s to come in season 6, and he said that something really big will happen with Vigilante.
“There’s something really big happening with Vigilante, really big. There are some big things for Vigilante. It’s tough for me to talk about Vigilante at this point and not give some things away besides to say his revelation will be — there’s some real intimacy with the way he’s revealed. It’s really going to be deep to find out exactly what he’s all about.”
So far Vigilante has yet to appear in season 6, but he was featured in the sizzle reel that was recently released, so it seems likely that we’re going to be seeing the character in the first half of the season.
