Malcolm Merlyn as one of the main villains featured on DC’s “Legends of Tomorrow” season 2, as he teamed up with Eobard Thawne and Damien Darhk to form the Legion of Doom. Together the Legion successfully acquired the Spear of Destiny and rewrote reality before the Legends put and end to their reign, and now Merlyn is heading back to “Arrow.”
It’s been a while since we’ve seen Malcolm Merlyn cross paths with the Green Arrow, but showrunner Wendry Mericle recently told TV Line that he’s still not someone that Team Arrow can trust.
“The last time Oliver and Malcolm saw each other, Malcolm helped them at the end of Season 4 — but he also went after Oliver’s son in the middle of Season 4,” showrunner Wendy Mericle reminds. “So always with Malcolm, you never know where you stand. You’re always a little bit off balance even if you think he’s on your side.”
With only 5 episodes to go before “Arrow” season 5 comes to an end, it looks like the final episodes will be loaded.
Malcolm Merlyn, Thea Queen, Black Siren and Deathstroke have all been confirmed to return, and multiple deaths have also been teased. Who will bite the dust? We’ll just have to wait and find out.
