The “Arrow” season 5 finale left fans with a lot of questions. After Lian Yu exploded with everyone on it besides Oliver and his William, the fates of the “Arrow” cast were left hanging in the balance.
We’ve since gotten confirmation that Deathstroke and Dinah Drake both survived the explosion thanks to the first trailer for season 6. However, everyone is still trying to figure out who may have been killed off.
Shows such as “Arrow” and “The Flash” sometimes like to draw out their story arcs in order to keep people guessing a little bit longer, but luckily the powers that be have decided that an entire summer is long enough to wait for answers.
Executive producer Wendy Mericle spoke to Comicbook.com at San Diego International Comic Con and she confirmed that all of the questions regarding who lived and who died will be answered by the end of the season 6 premiere.
“I think you’re gonna see both. We will get answers. You’ll know by the end of the premiere who made it and who didn’t, and you’ll see Oliver mourning. You’ll definitely see him going through a grieving process”
There’s only two and a half months to go before we get the answers we’re looking for, but it’s good to know we’ll be getting them as soon as the show returns.
“Arrow” will return on Thursday, October 12.
After a violent shipwreck, billionaire playboy Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) was missing and presumed dead for five years before being discovered alive on a remote island in the North China Sea. He returned home to Star City, bent on righting the wrongs done by his family and fighting injustice.
As the Green Arrow, he protects his city with the help of former soldier John Diggle (David Ramsey), computer-science expert Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards), his vigilante-trained sister Thea Queen (Willa Holland), Deputy Mayor Quentin Lance (Paul Blackthorne), brilliant inventor Curtis Holt (Echo Kellum), and his new recruits, street-savvy Rene Ramirez (Rick Gonzalez) and meta-human Dinah Drake (Juliana Harkavy).
Oliver has finally solidified and strengthened his crime-fighting team only to have it threatened when unexpected enemies from his past return to Star City, forcing Oliver to rethink his relationship with each member of his “family”.
