Arrow EP Teases Plans For The Villains In Season 7

“Arrow” season 6 will be coming to an end tonight, and it’s already been confirmed that the show will be returning for season 7 in the fall.

For most of season 6, Oliver Queen and the other members of Team Arrow have been bringing the fight to Ricardo Diaz, but one way or another Ricardo’s reign of corruption will come to a conclusion in the finale.

“Arrow” executive producer Marc Guggenheim recently spoke to TV Line about the finale, and he teased that the episode will reference a group of villains who are set to appear in season 7.

“I will say that the reference to the Longbow Hunters is us planting a flag, much the same way we referenced Damien Darhk in the Season 3 finale,” Guggenheim allowed. “We would be [not nice people] to name-drop the Longbow Hunters and not see them in Season 7.”

A reference to the Longbow Hunters isn’t the only thing fans have to look forward to in the finale, as Guggenheim also teased that the episode will feature plenty of surprises.

“This is a very unconventional finale — at least, it’s very different from the five that preceded it,” Guggenheim said. “By my count, there are four big surprises-slash-developments in the finale, which I want to say is the most we’ve ever had in a single finale.”

“Life Sentence” will air tonight on the CW.
