There’s no denying that “Arrow” season 6 hasn’t been easy for Oliver Queen. He’s lost most of his team, his work as the Green Arrow has put his own son in danger, and he’s constantly under fire due to his job as the mayor of Star City.
It looks like things are only going to get worse for Oliver as the season goes on, according to the synopsis for the upcoming episode “Fundamentals.” Dark days are being teased for Oliver, but a surprise visit from an old friend is also being teased. The synopsis reads as follows:
“In his darkest place yet, Oliver (Stephen Amell) wonders if he has failed at everything – being a father, a mayor and a hero. His frustration rising, Oliver lashes out at Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) and William (guest star Jack Moore). A surprising visit from an old friend has Oliver questioning his next move. Ben Bray directed the episode written by Speed Weed & Emilio Ortega Aldrich.”
“Fundamentals will air on Thursday, April 18, and it will be interesting to see who visits Oliver.
