Last season fans were thrilled when Slade Wilson made his return to “Arrow” and the powers that be have promised us that we’ll be seeing a lot more of Slade in season 6.
When Oliver recruited Slade to help him take down Prometheus on Lian Yu in the “Arrow” season 5 finale, a seed was planted for a story arc involving Slade’s son, and that story will be explored in the coming weeks.
Slade Wilson will be getting his own two part episode this season, complete with Slade-centric flashbacks, and it looks like the two parter will be kicking off in November.
The CW has released the plot synopsis for “Deathstroke Returns” and it teases that Oliver and Slade will go on a mission to save Slade’s son.
The synopsis reads as follows:
“SLADE RETURNS — Slade (Manu Bennett) returns and asks Oliver (Stephen Amell) for help in tracking down his son. When they learn Joe (guest star William Franklyn-Miller) has been taken hostage by mercenaries, their mission to save him gets complicated by a terrible revelation that could shatter Slade’s hopes of reunion forever. Meanwhile, Vigilante reappears in Star City. Joel Novoa directed the episode written by Ben Sokolowski & Spiro Skentzos (#605). Original airdate 11/9/2017.”
“Arrow” airs Thursday nights on the CW.
