This year’s four way “Arrowverse” crossover has the potential to top the “Invasion!” crossover from last year as it’s been confirmed that it will be titled “Crisis On Earth-X.” The heroes will be fighting evil doppelgangers from Earth-X, and the crossover will also feature the West-Allen wedding.

Even though Barry and Iris are getting married, they won’t be the only couple whose relationship will come into focus during the crossover. Executive producer Wendy Mericle recently teased an interesting story for Oliver Queen while talking to TV Guide, and she said he will explore the meaning of true love.

“Really Oliver’s (Stephen Amell) story… It’s Oliver and one other character in the Arrow-verse’s story. It really explores the question of true love, and what does that look like? It’s emotionally really compelling, and you’re going to be surprised by what he learns and how he learns it and who he learns it from. It’s pretty crazy stuff, I’m not going to lie.”

Judging from what happened between Oliver and Felicity in the season 5 finale, you can probably guess where this story is headed.

The crossover will kick off on Monday, November 27 and continue on Tuesday, November 28.

“Arrow” will return on Thursday, October 12.

After a violent shipwreck, billionaire playboy Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) was missing and presumed dead for five years before being discovered alive on a remote island in the North China Sea. He returned home to Star City, bent on righting the wrongs done by his family and fighting injustice.

As the Green Arrow, he protects his city with the help of former soldier John Diggle (David Ramsey), computer-science expert Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards), his vigilante-trained sister Thea Queen (Willa Holland), Deputy Mayor Quentin Lance (Paul Blackthorne), brilliant inventor Curtis Holt (Echo Kellum), and his new recruits, street-savvy Rene Ramirez (Rick Gonzalez) and meta-human Dinah Drake (Juliana Harkavy).

Oliver has finally solidified and strengthened his crime-fighting team only to have it threatened when unexpected enemies from his past return to Star City, forcing Oliver to rethink his relationship with each member of his “family”.
