“Riverdale” season 1 was a complicated web of lies and secrets, and it looks like season 2 is going to crank up the drama in every way imaginable. The latest trailer for season 2 has been released, and it shows Archie being held at gunpoint, along with a few other scenes that are sure to get fans of the show excited. Check it out below.
Fans who enjoyed the mystery in the first season regarding Jason Blossom’s killer will be happy to know that the next mystery will be even darker, but details regarding the story are being kept under wraps.
“The entire mystery of season 2 is completely under wraps and we haven’t been able to talk about it at all,” actress Lili Reinhart told EW. “What we can say is that Betty’s speech in the finale at the jubilee about how the town needs to do better has repercussions.”
“Riverdale” will return on Wednesday, October 11.
As the town breathed a collective sigh of relief that Jason’s killer had been found out, another terrible crime occurred, in a space that had been considered one of the town’s safest, most innocent places.
